Amazon ( AMZN ) will move its Whole Foods corporate employees to the same compensation structure and benefits programs as the rest of Amazon ( AMZN ) workforce, the company said in an emailed response to MT Newswires on Wednesday.

Whole Foods employees will retain their employee discount until December 2026, the company said, adding that at the time of transition in later in 2025, the employees will also get Amazon ( AMZN ) discounts, among other benefits.

The move is aimed at bring Amazon's ( AMZN ) grocery teams such as Whole Foods Market, Amazon Fresh, and Amazon Go closer together to ease collaboration, the company said.
