12:06 PM EDT, 07/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Artemis Gold ( ARGTF ) late Thursday said authorities lifted a wildfire evacuation order for the area near its Blackwater mine in British Columbia, allowing employees and contractors to return to site over the coming days.

Partial camp operations and services have been maintained since the July 22 evacuation order and ramp-up to full construction capacity is expected to go quickly, the company said.

All access roads to the Blackwater mine are clear and the mine site was not affected by any wildfires.

Artemis shares were last seen up $0.46 to $11.43 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
