12:03 PM EDT, 09/27/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Aston Bay Holdings ( ATBHF ) reported Friday the latest drilling results from the Storm copper project in Nunavut.

Results include 22.9 meters at 8.5% copper and 45.7 meters at 1.9% copper.

"It is exciting to hit such a long interval of high-grade copper outside of the previously known zone of mineralization as we work toward calculation of a maiden resource estimate this fall," CEO Thomas Ullrich said. "This suggests there is more to be found, and it bodes well for additional discoveries and expansion of the known existing mineralization with next year's campaign."

American West Metals, Aston Bay's ( ATBHF ) joint venture partner, is conducting the exploration program.
