AtkinsRealis Group ( SNCAF ) , an engineering services and nuclear company, said fourth-quarter adjusted profit from project services and project management (PS&PM) fell while revenue advanced and beat forecasts.
The engineering services and nuclear company said adjusted net PS&PM income fell to $45.8 million, or $0.26 per diluted share, from $79.5 million, or $0.45 per share, in the prior year period.
Total PS&PM revenue jumped 14% to $2.5 billion. Analysts polled by FactSet had expected $2.41 billion.
For 2025, engineering services regions organic revenue growth is expected to be between 7% and 9%. Nuclear revenue is expected to be between $1.6 billion and $1.7 billion.
"We capped off a very strong 2024 with fourth quarter results driven by continued growth in AtkinsRealis Services. The demand for our nuclear and engineering services remains robust, as witnessed by our 15% organic revenue growth in AtkinsRealis Services in 2024," said Chief Executive Ian Edwards.
AtkinsRealis ( SNCAF ) on Thursday also said it will sell its remaining 6.76% stake in 407 International, a toll highway in the Greater Toronto Area, for up to $2.79 billion. Ferrovial will purchase a 5.06% stake, and the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board will acquire the remaining 1.7%.
The Toronto Stock Exchange has also approved the renewal of the company's normal course issuer bid to buy back up 13.9 million shares beginning on March 17 for one year.
