Update: Beyond Meat Expects Fiscal Q3 Net Revenue of $70 Million, In Line With Prior Outlook; Shares Up Pre-Bell

Beyond Meat ( BYND ) said Friday it expects net revenue of about $70 million for fiscal Q3 ended Sept. 27, in line with its prior outlook of $68 million to $73 million.

Analysts polled by FactSet expect $68.7 million.

The company also said it expects to book a non-cash impairment charge in Q3 tied to certain of its long-lived assets. Beyond Meat ( BYND ) said the impairment charge is slated to be material but added that it is not able to quantify the amount presently.

Beyond Meat ( BYND ) also provided an update in regards to arbitration proceedings with a former co-manufacturer. The company said the arbitrator denied on Oct. 20 the co-manufacturer's request to re-open arbitration hearings that was filed on Sept. 25.

The company's shares were up more than 12% in recent premarket activity.
