Core Scientific ( CORZ ) said Thursday it has terminated its merger agreement with CoreWeave ( CRWV ) because it didn't receive the necessary votes from shareholders.

Core Scientific ( CORZ ) will continue trading on the Nasdaq Composite, it said.

CoreWeave ( CRWV ) Chief Executive Officer Michael Intrator said the company respects the voting results and looks forward to continuing its commercial partnership with Core Scientific ( CORZ ).

Shares of CoreWeave ( CRWV ) were down more than 5% in recent Thursday trading.
