JPMorgan Chase ( JPM ) Kinexys unit has rolled out a USD-denominated deposit token JPM Coin to its institutional investors, a company spokesperson confirmed to MT Newswires in an email late Wednesday.

Customers can now use JPM Coin through Coinbase Global's ( COIN ) Base blockchain, the spokesperson said.

A number of clients, including B2C2, Coinbase, and Mastercard (MA), carried out issuance and redemption of JPM Coin on Base, according to the spokesperson.

JPMorgan ( JPM ) introduced the USD deposit token proof-of-concept in June.
