Microsoft ( MSFT ) will rent capacity from data center company Nscale as part of a project in Portugal to ramp computing resources to match rising artificial intelligence demand, Bloomberg News reported Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter.
The project at the Start Campus data center park in Sines will use Nvidia's ( NVDA ) AI chips and is expected to be operational in early 2026, according to the report.
