The National Basketball Association's exclusive negotiating window for a new media rights deal with Walt Disney ( DIS ) and Warner Bros. Discovery ( WBD ) is expected to expire Monday without a new accord, CNBC reported Thursday, citing people familiar with the matter.

"We continue to have productive discussions with Disney ( DIS ) and Warner Bros. Discovery ( WBD ) on a renewal of our media deals," a league spokesperson said in a statement to CNBC.

Disney ( DIS ) and Warner declined to comment, CNBC reported.

Disney's ( DIS ) ESPN ( DIS ) declined to comment to MT Newswires, while the NBA and Warner did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Amazon.com ( AMZN ) , Apple ( AAPL ) , Alphabet (GOOG, GOOGL) unit Google's ( GOOG ) Youtube TV, Comcast's ( CMCSA ) NBCUniversal/Peacock and Netflix ( NFLX ) had initial talks with the NBA expressing potential interest, CNBC reported last year.
