ParTec AG and its licensing agent, BF exaQC AG, filed a patent infringement lawsuit against Microsoft ( MSFT ) , the company said Monday.

The legal dispute surrounds the alleged infringement of ParTec patents relating to the dynamic modular system architecture that the company developed and uses in the construction of AI-supercomputers, according to a statement.

The lawsuit seeks an injunction against the use of patented technology as well as license fees and compensation for damages, among other things, the company said.

Microsoft ( MSFT ) did not immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
