Update: Prospera Energy Reports "Strong Operational Performance" in June
Jun 17, 2025 9:52 AM

12:33 PM EDT, 06/17/2025 (MT Newswires) -- (Updates shares.)

Prospera Energy ( GXRFF ) said on Tuesday it delivered "strong operational performance" so far in June as the company published its monthly operations report.

Prospera said its gross production averaged 880 barrels of oil equivalent per day from June 1 to 15, marking the sixth consecutive operations update outlining production growth.

The company attributed the sustained growth to successful spring break-up maintenance, Cuthbert water tank repairs, and extensive well optimizations completed in late May after lease roads dried up and became accessible.

Prospera said Western Canadian Select differentials continue to remain at record-low levels, recently trading at less than $9.00 per barrel under US Benchmark West Texas Intermediate. The company said this is favorable for given its predominantly heavy oil production base.

Meanwhile, Prospera announced a further amendment to its $11 million promissory note, originally dated June 7, 2024, in collaboration with its principal lender. Following previous increases, an additional $1.2 million was added, bringing the total principal amount to $16.7 million.

Prospera shares were last seen up $0.005 to $$0.035 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
