11:58 AM EDT, 09/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Surge Copper ( SRGXF ) said Thursday it completed its 2024 field program at the Berg and Ootsa copper-molybdenum-precious metals projects in British Columbia.
As part of the program, the company drilled 5,054 meters in 13 diamond drill holes. Assay results are pending.
The company said a pre-feasibility level metallurgy program is expected to be completed in early 2025.
"We're pleased with how efficiently this year's field program progressed," CEO Leif Nilsson said. "We achieved all the critical objectives, and thanks to high productivity and favorable weather conditions, we exceeded our original drilling target."
The company's shares were last seen up $0.005 to $0.15 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
