Update: TORM's Shares Rise After Q2 Results, Raised 2025 Outlook

TORM's ( TRMD ) shares rose nearly 8% in recent Thursday trading after the company posted its Q2 results and updated its 2025 guidance.

The shipping firm reported Q2 earnings earlier Thursday of $0.60 per basic share, down from $2.08 a year earlier. Analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.59.

Time charter equivalent earnings for the quarter were $208.2 million, down from $325.9 million a year earlier. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $210.1 million.

The company said it now expects 2025 time charter equivalent earnings in the range of $800 million to $950 million, up from its prior range of $700 million to $900 million. Analysts polled by FactSet expect $859.4 million.
