Update: TotalEnergies Sells Nigeria Bonga Field Stake for $510 Million

TotalEnergies (TTE) said Tuesday it has completed the sale of its 12.5% non-operated interest in Nigeria's Bonga field under a production sharing contract.

Shell (SHEL) Nigeria Exploration and Production bought a 10% stake, while Eni (E) unit Nigerian Agip Exploration acquired 2.5% for a combined $510 million, TotalEnergies said.

Following the transaction, Nigerian Agip Exploration's share in the project increased to 15% from 12.5%.

Shell said the deal has increased its stake to 65% from 55%.
