01:51 PM EST, 01/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- U.S. Bancorp ( USB ) named Gunjan Kedia as chief executive officer, effective April 15.

Kedia, 54, succeeds Andy Cecere, who will become executive chairman, the company said Tuesday in a statement.

Kedia is currently president of U.S. Bancorp ( USB ) after joining in 2016.

Cecere, 64, is also currently the company chairman.
