WASHINGTON, Nov 13 (Reuters) - U.S. federal regulators
are continuing to bar MD-11 flights, according to a Federal
Register notice posted online on Thursday, following a deadly
crash of a UPS MD-11 cargo freighter in Kentucky last
week.
"This AD (airworthiness directive) prohibits further flight
until the airplane is inspected and all applicable corrective
actions are performed using a method approved by the FAA," the
notice said, adding that it replaces an earlier emergency
directive grounding the planes.
