US OKs potential $2 billion sale of missile, radar systems to Taiwan, Pentagon says

Oct 25 (Reuters) - The U.S. State Department has

approved the potential sale to Taiwan of radar systems worth an

estimated $828 million and a $1.16 billion surface-to-air

missile system, the Pentagon said on Friday.

The principal contractor for the missile system will be RTX

Corp ( RTX ), the Pentagon said.
