US orders Vineyard Wind to cease power production and construction

July 17 (Reuters) - Federal safety authorities on

Wednesday ordered Vineyard Wind off the coast of Massachusetts

to stop power production and construction on its offshore wind

facility until an investigation determines whether a blade

failure affects other turbines.

The U.S. Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement said

there had been no reported injuries or harm to any marine

resources or mammals from the incident.
