US State Dept OKs potential sale of HIMARS to Norway, Pentagon says

WASHINGTON, Aug 9 (Reuters) - The U.S. State Department

has approved the possible sale of High Mobility Artillery Rocket

Systems (HIMARS) and related equipment to Norway for an

estimated cost of $580 million, the Pentagon said on Friday.

The principal contractor will be Lockheed Martin ( LMT ),

the Pentagon said.
