05:06 PM EDT, 09/09/2025 (MT Newswires) -- The US Supreme Court said Tuesday it will review on a fast-track schedule whether President Donald Trump's worldwide tariffs are legal, several media outlets reported.
The justices said in an order they will hear arguments in early November, Bloomberg reported, adding the tariffs stay in place for now.
The Supreme Court's decision Tuesday follows Trump's appeal of lower court rulings that he overstepped his authority when he invoked a 1977 law to impose the tariffs, USA Today reported.
