USA Rare Earth Unit Forms Partnership With Solvay to Supply Rare Earth Metals to Permag

07:51 AM EST, 11/20/2025 (MT Newswires) -- USA Rare Earth ( USAR ) said Thursday its Less Common Metals unit has formed a partnership with Solvay to supply rare earth metals to Permag, a producer of high-precision magnets and magnetic assemblies.

Less Common Metals will produce Samarium materials using oxides concentrated and separated by Solvay.

USA Rare Earth ( USAR ) said the collaboration will help support demand for Samarium magnets used in advanced manufacturing, defense applications and clean energy technologies over the next three to five years.

The company's shares were up 1.8% in recent premarket activity.
