10:34 AM EST, 12/23/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Varex Imaging ( VREX ) said Monday that it has completed a private offering of $125 million in 7.875% senior secured notes due 2027.

The notes were sold to initial buyers for resale to qualified institutional buyers and international investors, the company said in a regulatory filing.

Varex said net proceeds will be used to cover offering expenses and help repay the $200 million of convertible notes due on June 1, 2025, or buy back some of those notes before the maturity date.

With the closing of the offering on Friday, the company said it intends to terminate an agreement signed in April for an equipment credit facility that has not been used.
