10:13 AM EDT, 07/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- VCI Global ( VCIG ) said Friday it has entered into an artificial intelligence computing alliance led by Enlight and Super Micro Computer ( SMCI ) to set up AI computing facilities and accelerate the AI ecosystem.

The first computing facility will be installed in Taiwan and will provide services to entities like governments, financial institutions and companies, VCI said.

The Taiwan facility is expected to begin operations by the end of this year, the company said.
