Veon Partners With Airspan Networks for Ukraine's Communications Infrastructure

07:20 AM EDT, 03/21/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Veon ( VEON ) said Friday it has agreed with Airspan Networks to explore resilient network solutions in Ukraine,

The partnership will focus on evaluating technical and commercial synergies, including Open RAN and air-to-land technologies, to improve Ukraine's communications infrastructure amid extreme conditions.

Veon ( VEON ) said the partnership is part of Veon's ( VEON ) $1 billion investment commitment to rebuild Ukraine's digital infrastructure between 2023 and 2027.
