VEON's Kyivstar to Buy Ukrainian Ride-Hailing Firm Uklon

11:00 AM EDT, 03/19/2025 (MT Newswires) -- VEON (VEON) said Wednesday its unit Kyivstar has agreed to buy Ukrainian ride-hailing and delivery company Uklon.

Kyivstar will buy 97% of Uklon shares for $155.2 million, VEON said, adding Uklon Chief Executive Serhii Hryshkov is expected to stay in his role.
