08:25 AM EST, 11/12/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Verde AgriTech ( VNPKF ) on Wednesday said its third-quarter loss narrowed on higher despite weaker sales.
The Brazilian fertilizer company said it lost $2.09 million in the quarter, compared with a year-prior loss of $2.34 million. Per share amounts were not disclosed.
Revenue fell 18% to $5.87 million from $7.16 million, as deliveries fell to 85,000 tons from 101,000.
The company said its results were challenged by weak customer conditions in Brazil which faces "challenges such as geopolitical tensions, extreme climate risks, high input costs, financing difficulties and trade volatility, creating uncertainties for output and market stability".
"The Great Brazilian Agriculture Crisis continues to weigh on demand, with elevated insolvencies across the sector, but we have executed with discipline: cutting costs, tightening credit, and concentrating on resilient, long-cycle customers," chief executive Cristiano Veloso said in a release.
Still, the company said it sees better market conditions for the second half of this year, on higher grain output, expectations for lower Brazilian interest rates and slowing inflation.
The company's shares closed down $0.07 to $1.03 Tuesday on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
