11:01 AM EDT, 05/30/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Verizon Communications ( VZ ) said Thursday that the Department of the Navy has awarded Verizon Public Sector a 10-year contract worth up to $2.67 billion to provide wireless devices and services under the Spiral 4 contract.

Verizon said it will deliver services including voice, data, IoT, and mobility management over 10 years.

The Spiral 4 contract aims to meet current and future wireless mobility requirements for military personnel and federal civilian agencies, incorporating improvements in industry standards and technology, Verizon said.
