09:26 AM EDT, 10/16/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Viavi Solutions ( VIAV ) said Thursday that it has completed the acquisition of Spirent Communications' high-speed ethernet, network security and channel emulation testing business from Keysight Technologies ( KEYS ) .

Viavi said it bought the business for $425 million in cash.

The deal is expected to add $180 million to Viavi's network service enablement revenue in the first 12 months after closing, Viavi said.

Viavi also said it has signed a term loan credit agreement with Wells Fargo (WFC) and other banks, which provides for a senior secured term loan of $600 million. Proceeds from the credit agreement will be used to finance part of the acquisition and for general corporate purposes, it said.

Keysight ( KEYS ) said Wednesday that it has completed its acquisition of Spirent.
