Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $0.41.
Operating income for the quarter ended June 30 was $216.7 million, up from $160.8 million a year earlier.
The company said its board set a quarterly base dividend of $0.30 and a variable dividend of $0.34 per Class A share, payable on Aug. 22 to shareholders of record on Aug. 15.
Shares of the company rose 1.8% in after-hours activity.
