07:45 AM EDT, 05/08/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Vizsla Silver ( VZLA ) on Wednesday reported results from six new drillholes targeting the La Luisa vein located 700 meters west of the Napoleon Area resource within its flagship Panuco silver-gold project in Mexico.
Highlights include 788 grams per tonne (g/t) silver equivalent over 1.30 meters, 1,038 g/t silver equivalent over 0.75 meters and 7,307 g/t silver equivalent over 0.48 meters.
"Our ongoing exploration campaign continues to expand and convert near-surface mineralization at La Luisa," President and CEO Michael Konnert said.
Vizsla said it has identified two potential feeder zones within a target depth horizon, which it will soon test.
A maiden preliminary economic assessment on Panuco is scheduled to be released in the third quarter.
Vizsla's share price rose 2.1% to $1.92 yesterday.
