Vulcan Materials Q2 Adjusted Earnings Rise, Revenue Falls

08:03 AM EDT, 08/06/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Vulcan Materials ( VMC ) reported Q2 adjusted earnings Tuesday of $2.35 per diluted share, up from $2.29 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $2.50.

Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $2.01 billion, compared with $2.11 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $2.04 billion.

Shares of the company were down 2.7% in recent premarket activity.
