Walt Disney Expands Paid Family Sharing Program for Disney

12:57 PM EDT, 09/25/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Walt Disney ( DIS ) said Wednesday it was expanding Disney+'s paid family sharing program to allow the inclusion of a member outside of a household.

Account holders will be able to add an extra member to their plan for an additional monthly fee. In the U.S., the cost of adding an extra member profile will be $6.99 per month for Disney+ Basic subscriptions and $9.99 per month for Disney+ Premium subscriptions.

Each account is only allowed one extra member slot, Disney ( DIS ) said.

The new functionality became available in United States, Canada, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region, Disney ( DIS ) said.
