Warner Bros. Discovery Reportedly Sets Paramount Merger Shareholder Vote on April 23

08:30 AM EDT, 03/26/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Warner Bros. Discovery ( WBD ) shareholders are scheduled to vote on its planned merger with Paramount Skydance ( PSKY ) on April 23, news outlets reported Thursday, citing Warner.

Warner expects the acquisition to close in Q3, and if the deal has not closed by Sept. 30, company shareholders will receive a daily ticking fee of $0.25 per share every quarter until closing, said the reports, including The Wall Street Journal.

Warner did not immediately reply to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
