09:30 AM EDT, 06/10/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Warner Music Group ( WMG ) said Wednesday it agreed to acquire Sureel AI, a company that develops technology to track and attribute the use of intellectual property in artificial intelligence systems.

Financial terms were not provided.

Warner Music Group ( WMG ) said the acquisition is expected to add the capability to identify how AI models use music and other creative content, as well as tools for attribution, compliance reporting, and monitoring the use of names, images, likenesses and voices in AI-generated content.

The company said Sureel's platform contains millions of music assets and will continue operating independently following the transaction.
