08:53 AM EDT, 09/30/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Wealth Minerals ( WMLLF ) said on Monday that the Chilean government selected the company to apply for a special lithium operation contract (CEOL) for the Kuska project within the Ollague Salar, one of the six locations approved for the development of lithium projects in Chile.

Wealth said the six locations share key conditions, including strong interest from developing parties, favorable geological characteristics and sound environmental conditions.

"The whole team is very excited to see Ollague as one of the six locations selected by the Government of Chile in this first wave of CEOL grants," CEO Henk van Alphen said. "This confirms the quality and potential of our Kuska project."
