WeRide Gets Permit for Robotaxi Service in Beijing's Core Urban Area

03:48 AM EDT, 03/13/2025 (MT Newswires) -- WeRide ( WRD ) said late Wednesday it received approval to operate commercial robotaxi ride-hailing services between the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area and Beijing South Railway Station.

WeRide ( WRD ) said it plans to expand its robotaxi service area in Beijing, with future operations targeting airports and high-speed railway stations.
