08:34 AM EDT, 07/09/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Wesdome Gold Mines ( WDOFF ) on Tuesday reported total gold production of 44,035 ounces for the second quarter, up from 30,992 ounces in the same three months last year.
The company sold 40,000 ounces in the second quarter, up from 32,000 ounces a year earlier.
"With solid performance in the first half of the year, we are on track to achieve our 2024 annual production guidance of between 160,000 and 180,000 ounces of gold," Anthea Bath, president and CEO of Wesdome Gold Mines ( WDOFF ), said in a statement.
Additionally, Bath said the company paid down the remaining $29 million balance on its revolving credit facility on schedule at the end of June. Wesdome is now debt-free, Bath noted.
The company will release its Q2 financial results after markets close on Aug. 14.
