05:12 PM EDT, 07/17/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Western Alliance Bancorp ( WAL ) said late Thursday it appointed Vishal Idnani as its Chief Financial Officer, effective Jan. 2.

Idnani succeeds CFO Dale Gibbons, who will transition to twin roles of vice chairman and chief banking officer, overseeing "deposit initiatives and innovation", the company said.

Idnani joins from J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. (JPM), where he currently serves as a managing director in the financial institutions group.
