Williams Prices Offering of $1.5 Billion Senior Notes

04:38 AM EDT, 08/09/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Williams Companies ( WMB ) said late Thursday it priced a public offering of $1.5 billion principal amount of senior notes in three series.

The offering consists of $450 million of 4.8% senior notes due 2029 priced at 99.81% of par value, $300 million of 5.15% senior notes due 2034 priced at 99.037% of par value, and $750 million of 5.8% senior notes due 2054 priced at 99.784% of par value.

Net proceeds will be used for repayments of commercial paper, capital expenditures, and for general corporate purposes, the company said.

Settlement of the offering is expected to close on Aug. 13, subject to customary closing conditions.
