Analysts polled by Capital IQ had forecast Q4 GAAP earnings of 5.35 rupees per share.

Revenue for the quarter ended March 31 was 222.08 billion rupees, down from 231.90 billion rupees a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ had forecast 222.50 billion rupees.

Shares of Wipro ( WIT ) were up 2.5% in recent premarket activity.
