09:17 AM EDT, 08/05/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Woodside Energy Group Ltd ( WDS ) said Monday it has entered into a binding agreement to acquire all of OCI Clean Ammonia Holding and its lower carbon ammonia project in Beaumont, Texas for $2.35 billion.

The project is under construction and is targeting first ammonia from 2025 and lower carbon ammonia from 2026, Woodside said.
