Xcel Energy's Q3 Earnings Rise, Revenue Falls

07:04 AM EDT, 10/31/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Xcel Energy ( XEL ) reported Q3 ongoing earnings Thursday of $1.25 per diluted share, up from $1.23 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $1.26 normalized.

Revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 was $3.64 billion compared with $3.66 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $3.93 billion.

The company reaffirmed its 2024 ongoing EPS guidance of $3.50 to $3.60 per share. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect $3.56.
