Two Chinese major smartphone makers are gearing up for big launches ahead of Diwali. The launch of the updated version of OnePlus6 -- OnePlus6T -- is scheduled for October 29 in New York, followed by an India launch on October 30 in New Delhi.

Another big launch is by market leader Xiaomi. The smartphone maker is launching Mi Mix 3 in China on October 25. The company is yet to announce the India launch date. It is expected to arrive in India by early next month.

Price

According to various tech sites, Mi Mix 3 is expected to around $510 (approximately Rs 36,000) for the 6GB RAM and 64GB variant. The 6GB RAM and 128GB variant will come at a price of $555 (approximately Rs 39,500), while the 8GB RAM and 128GB variant will caost arounf $600 approximately (Rs 42,700).

The higher variant 8GB RAM and 256GB ROM will be available at $645 (approximately Rs 45,900).

Specifications And Features

Mi Mix 3 is expected to get a 6.4-inch 1080p+ AMOLED slide-out display with a near 100 percent screen-to-body ratio, according to reports. Users have to slide the display down to reveal dual front cameras and the company has released a teaser detailing how the slide-out display will work. According to the teaser, Mi MIx 3 sports an in-display fingerprint sensor.

The phone is speculated to powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor and will have 5G support. Mi Mix3 will come with a 3,750mAh battery and it would support fast charging technology.

Leaks suggest that Mi Mix 3 will sport a 16MP + 13MP rear camera and the selfie shooter could be 20MP.
