XPeng Flying Car to Be Available for Pre-Order in 2024, Co-President Says
May 17, 2024 7:57 AM

10:36 AM EDT, 05/17/2024 (MT Newswires) -- XPeng's ( XPEV ) first flying car will be available for pre-order in 2024, Co-President Brian Gu said Friday.

Gu told CNBC in an interview that the company's Xpeng AeroHT affiliate is looking to deliver the vehicle to customers in 2026.

The company is confident because the vehicle is being designed not for urban centers, "but for outskirts in scenic areas," he said.

Gu said the company will work with municipalities for the creation of flying parks and zones where people can "enjoy flying without the hassle of getting all the complicated approvals."

XPeng ( XPEV ) didn't immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
