08:27 AM EST, 12/30/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Zebra Technologies ( ZBRA ) said Monday it plans to acquire Photoneo to strengthen its position in the rapidly growing 3D machine vision market.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The acquisition will combine Photoneo's advanced 3D vision offering with Zebra's sensors, AI-based image processing and vendor-agnostic software, creating a product portfolio for automotive manufacturing, logistics and robotics applications.

Zebra said it expects the deal to enhance its machine vision offerings and accelerate profitable growth.

The deal is expected to close in Q1 and will be funded with cash.
