ZenaTech Unit Gets FAA Approval for Testing ZenaDrone Drones in US

10:48 AM EDT, 10/02/2024 (MT Newswires) -- ZenaTech ( ZENA ) said Wednesday its ZenaDrone unit has received an exemption from the Federal Aviation Authority for visual line-of-sight commercial applications and data collection in the US.

The approval allows the company to conduct live testing and assessments of the ZenaDrone 1000 with US partners and prospective customers, and the product's features can be showcased at upcoming drone trade shows, the company said.

The ZenaDrone 1000 is an autonomous drone designed for stable flight and heavy lifting. It has been tested by the US military for delivering temperature-sensitive medical supplies, the company added.

Shares of ZenaTech ( ZENA ) fell nearly 19% in recent trading.
