Social media giant Facebook will rework how its top management in India will function, reported The Economic Times.
A new country head will be designated managing director and vice president in India and will report to David Fischer, Facebook's global VP of business and marketing partnerships based at the company's US headquarters, the report said citing company's internal emails.
Earlier, India heads were designated as managing director, India and reported to the company's Asia-Pacific head in Singapore, the report said.
Facebook did not respond to an email from The Economic Times seeking comment.
As of March 2017, Facebook India Online Services earned about Rs 341.8 crore in revenue in financial year 2016-17, up by 93 percent from a year earlier, as per the report.
