11:16 AM EDT, 05/22/2026 (MT Newswires) -- The Kansas City Federal Reserve's monthly composite services index rose to a reading of 10 in May after falling to 3 in April, suggesting faster expansion.
The other regional services measures already released have been mixed.
There was an increase in the Kansas City revenue/sales reading to 12 from 6, while the employment reading rose to 5 from minus 5.
The reading of selling prices decreased to 20 from 22, while the input price index rose to 54 from 48. A reading above zero indicates growth.
