KKR-backed Radiant Life Care is back in the race to acquire Fortis Healthcare, reported The Economic Times.
The development comes after Life Care submitted an expression of interest (EoI) for Fortis Healthcare with KKR’s backing on Thursday.
With this move, the fresh bidding for the Fortis Healthcare will see four bidders including Manipal-TPG, IHH and Munjal-Burman combine, the report said.
According to the report, "Fortis Healthcare will be evaluating binding bids that offer a minimum infusion of Rs 1,500 crore through a preferential allotment and a plan to fund the company’s acquisition of RHT Health Trust assets."
The board will evaluate the binding offers using various criteria, the report added.
All Unconditional binding bids for a stake in India’s second largest hospital chain have to be submitted between 8:30 AM and 9:30 AM on June 14, the report said.
