Parts of witnessed light rainfall on Saturday, when the world leaders attended the much-awaited G20 Summit. A weather official had earlier said that the national capital might witness "generally cloudy skies with light rain during the day".
Delhi on Saturday recorded a minimum temperature of 23.2 degrees Celsius, two notches below the season's average, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The relative humidity was 98 percent at 8:30 am.
The maximum temperature is expected to settle around 35 degrees Celsius, according to the IMD.
The IMD has installed an additional automatic weather station near Pragati Maidan, where the G20 Summit began this morning, to provide specialised and real-time weather forecasts.
India is hosting G20 Summit 2023 in Delhi on September 9 and 10. World leader already arrived in India to attend the global leader's meet.
The G20 Summit is held annually, under the leadership of a rotating Presidency. This year, India took over the G20 presidency. The members of the G20 are: Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Türkiye, the United Kingdom, the United States, and the European Union.
